Interesting week, with people who are actually spamming to make money. This virtual spamming has gone worst with making you believe that a family member is in actual danger, just to ask you for ransom money.

Included in this week's discussion are reasons why you can't always trust Google's top featured answers, and as being discussed repeatedly, how to make your passwords more secure with the new guidelines.

These and more only on CraigPeterson.com.

This week's highlight is the upcoming concept vehicles in the New York Autoshow, where autonomous cars are improved more and more each year, as Cadillac comes out with its very own self-driving car.

Also, we know that drones are not only fun, but also starting to develop into a more efficient tool used for delivery. Unfortunately, a report came out in UK where theare are drones being used to smuggle contrabands inside prisons.

These and more only on CraigPeterson.com.

What is cyberattack, and what are these attacks all about? Who are being attacked? What are the reasons for the cyberattacks?

Just recently, WikiLeaks have published over 8,700 confidential documents and information from different government and private organizations. And now, Windows users are even advised to turn off their computers over the weekend as there were threats of hacking.

How can this be stopped? How can we keep our data safe?

These and more only on CraigPeterson.com.

Do you think you’re safe from ransomware because you’re smart?

Because you know plenty about it. You’ve read the articles. You’ve seen the TV features on it. You’ve listened to my show. So you know, right? Well we’re going to talk today about ransomware and bring a little sanity to this, because people who are going to be affected the most by ransomware aren’t the people you think they are.

RFID (radio frequency identification) is a technology that incorporates the use of electromagnetic or electrostatic coupling in the radio frequency (RF) portion of the electromagnetic spectrum to uniquely identify an object, animal, or person.

RFID is being used for absolutely everything nowadays including your passport, including some of your credit cards. If you're in a hotel have you ever thought about what might happen? Can someone hack your card? How about for your business? Getting into your business after hours?

This and more on TechSanity Check with America's Technology Expert, Craig Peterson.

If there's one thing that would scare you today, that should be recovering lost data because of poor backup habits or services. Keeping your data safe is one thing, and backing it up is another, those go hand in hand regardless if you are a home office or an enterprise.

Also, as parents all we ever wanted is to make sure we get to watch over our kids and make sure that they are safe and sound. But, what if you are not the only one who is watching your kids? Or, what if you wanted to watch over your home and pets, and ended up seeing a different cam feed?

There are a lot to talk about today on TechSanity Check, and we'll get all those fear off of your shoulders.

Tom Wheeler, Chairman of  the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), was recently replaced

We’re going to talk today about all of the angst in the media about the Republican Congress getting rid of Chairman Wheeler's FCC privacy rules. What does it mean? Why would he have done that? Kind of what's the bottom line on this? Did they do something evil? Was it another evil move by the Trump administration?
